Blogging as self-improvement

Personal 11 May 2009 | 2 Comments

After reading about sucking less every year, I decided to start this blog as a means of tracking personal and professional growth, with the hopes that it will encourage me to undertake projects and report on interesting films and books and things. I know that, like Sad Songs and Waltzes, nobody will see this anyway, but I read Steve Yegge’s You Should Write Blogs, and felt inspired. Hopefully this will also let people I know keep track of what I’m up to and what I’ve been working on lately. Also, when people I don’t particularly care for ask “What have you been up to?” I can respond with “Shoo, that information is on my website.”
