About Me

Hi! My name is Brad.

I make web sites and folk songs. I was born and raised in south-central Wisconsin, and I like it here.

I work at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, doing ASP.NET web application development (in addition to PHP, XSLT, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and whatever else ends up getting tossed my way). I also have a handful of personal projects, which I house over at my Killstone Software website.

As far as the folk songs are concerned, you can check them out at the website for my band, Ragged Bay.

I was born in Janesville, Wisconsin in 1984. My father worked at the General Motors Janesville Assembly Plant, retiring when it shut down in 2008. I received my Associates degree from Blackhawk Technical College in Microcomputer Programming in the spring of 2005. That fall, I began attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where I received my Bachelors degree in Management Computer Systems in December 2010.

In May of 2011, I bought a house in Janesville and moved back to my hometown and adopted two dogs. In July, I got married to my best girl at Williams Tree Farm in Rockton, Illinois. She teaches four-year-old kindergarten at Kid’s House in Janesville.

This website is my attempt to “own my name,” and it’s a spot for me to post essays on technology, politics, and important events from my life.

Feel free to take a look around, and if you want to get a hold of me, don’t be afraid to shoot me an e-mail.
