The title of this blog is a good example of dumb keyword bait. Personally I’m a fan of tried-and-true techniques to legitimately garner more visitors, as told in Charles Lewis’ Page Rank Rap:

I ran the three most recent posts on this blog through the Buzz Grade system, and apparently the buzzword I like to use most is “grow”.

Personally, I think most search engine optimization techniques are basically Snake Oil – follow web standards (I recommend using the Web Developer Checklist) and leave the tricks to those sketchy scraper sites.

But as a purely academic exercise, try running your posts through Buzz Grade, then answer the question: do you have any management-speak type words you tend to overuse?
